We are proud to release the Discoverer Lid Clip , (for Series 2 only) which compliments the recently released Lid for the Discoverer core trays.

The clip is designed to snap on and off very easily, giving additional security and peace of mind.  In many circumstances it will eliminate the need for additional strapping/cutting of straps or tying and untying of ropes, saving time  when you are accessing the trays.

The new clip is another convenience that makes the Discoverer such a great core tray to use.  Available in bags of 100.

Having been closely involved over many years in the development and manufacture of The ‘Explorer’ Core Tray, Yandina Plastics Pty Ltd commenced manufacturing its own range of plastic core trays in 2009.   This new range of core trays / core boxes has all the benefits of the original ‘Explorer’ Core Tray, with the addition of some new and exciting features.

This new range of core trays will be known as The ‘Discoverer®’ and includes a model which truly ‘Stacks and Nests’ an exciting first for the industry.

The ‘Discoverer®’ range is produced using highly UV stabilised polypropylene which gives them longevity in the field, and The 'Discoverer®', formerly known as The 'Explorer', is the only polypropylene tray that has successfully withstood the test of time since 1995.

The new 'Discoverer®' Series 2, Stack and Nest tray has an even more bold START mark at the end of the tray to make it absolutely clear to the driller at which end they should commence to load the core from the core barrel inner tube, thereby eliminating possible errors in logging the core.
